Lendy provides vital administrative support to the National Executive Board of the African Conference of Catholic Clergy and Religious in the United States (ACCCRUS). Her passion for non-profit work began early in her career during her time with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in Hollywood, California. There she played a key role in membership drive and assisted the branch president with day-to-day operations.
She later joined the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word working in the Human Resources/Quality Management department. As the Education Program Coordinator, she led new hire orientation and trained non-medical staff, deepening her experience in organizational development. This role led her to St. Francis of Assisi, an inner-city school where she contributed to the development office before transiting to the church as Business Manager. Her steadfast commitment to serve eventually brought her to ACCCRUS where she continues to support the mission.
In addition to her work with ACCCRUS, Lendy serves as an Independent Claims Adjuster, Texas Public Notary, and a Loan Signing Agent. She is also a member of the Associate Missionary of St. Paul in Houston.
